We usually don’t talk about giving outside of the Christmas season, but having a joyful and giving spirit is something every Christian should have all year round.

The first thing we learn about God is that He is creative.

Where do you seek your comfort? What is your escape from the harsh realities of life?
When things don’t go the way you expect and your faith is tested, do you waver or stand firm?
Automatically, when faced with a dark situation, our eyes search for light and work to allow in more light. This is the way God has designed our eye to work and it’s a beautiful example of how we should live our lives. In the darkest of times, we need to search for the Light.
In bringing Jesus to people, we also learn from Paul and Silas that we need to stand up for our rights if they are violated.
In Acts 16, we read a story about Paul and Silas sticking to their mission, whatever it takes.
Do your conversations with God resemble a sit-down, intimate talk, or a quick text message?
“One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision and told him, ‘Don’t be afraid! Speak out! Don’t be silent!’“ (Acts 18:9)
Sometimes you remember a meal, not because of how it tasted but because of the significance of the event surrounding it. On this Good Friday, we are going to look at two meals that were surrounded by significant events.
